Company

Build on what your team already does.

The people closest to a task know what good looks like. Operant turns the work they already do into something a cheaper model can carry.

Our starting point

The work is the advantage.

Frontier models make new things possible. But the tasks that recur inside your product — and the judgment about what counts as done — are specific to the team running it.

Those lessons should not vanish after every request. They can become a clearer evaluation, a better route, or a skill a smaller model carries — with the frontier model kept exactly where its capability changes the outcome.

We start with evidence from the task, prove every change on held-out work, and make the improvement useful beyond the next model release.

How Operant works ->

Where it stands

Built in the open, with the numbers attached.

Operant is a live four-service estate on two domains, with real traffic captured through the production gateway and tenant isolation enforced inside the database itself. 108 commits, 1 July to 2 September 2026, solo. Zero customers today — we would rather say that plainly than have you find it, and the results page carries every caveat our own numbers deserve.
